Please see update about drought status

Dear Permittees,

The District uses the Pedernales and Blanco rivers as indicators of drought severity, requiring both rivers to flow 30-days below a drought trigger to initiate a drought. Currently, the Pedernales River meets the criteria for the 20-percent curtailment, and if conditions continue, the Blanco River will have flowed 30-days under the trigger come September 1.

If the Blanco River continues to flow under the 20-percent trigger for the next 5 days, the District will initiate the 20-percent drought curtailment. When the District moves into drought, please refer to your Drought Curtailment Chart to review the monthly production amount during a 20-percent drought.
